Architectural Fabricators Company, Inc. (AFC)
Aluminum composite material (ACM) is used for exterior and interior building cladding, column covers, canopies, fascias, and signs, and is perfect for retrofitting of existing facades. AFC is certified and licensed by flat goods suppliers Alucobond, Reynobond, and Alpolic, and have their own tested attachment systems for all types of wall construction. Your panel systems can also have core-ten steel, bronze, zinc, copper, or plate aluminum substrates.
Since 1978, AFC has fabricated over 5,000,000 square feet of wall panel systems all over the United States. Their premiere system, Structure Lock Rainscreen, was designed as the exterior cladding for a Rainscreen wall system and has no exposed sealants. The erector simply installs the base starter extrusion horizontally, installs the vertical gutters, then the panels begin stacking in place. All of the remaining structure for the panel system is attached to the panel at the plant.
AFC offers the Structure Lock Rainscreen system, a Hook and Pin system, a dry-jount system, a gasketed wet-seal system, and a wet-joint system, and many times custom and/or hybrid systems are developed for special applications. AFC should be your source for true radius panels, hot-air welded inlay "Statement" panels (see photo), and custom air-dry painting.
